We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Preventive Quality Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This role involves ensuring that all purchasing processes meet quality standards and that our suppliers adhere to our rigorous guidelines. As a Purchasing Preventive Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective quality control measures, identifying areas for improvement, and providing training to internal stakeholders on quality management practices.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on quality management practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or tool design
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in purchasing quality or quality management systems
  • 3 years of experience in tool design and development is desired
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with quality management systems such as IATF 16949, CQI, and VDA
