Job Description:

As a seasoned Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's data strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end data solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering multiple data solutions, leveraging their expertise in ETL development, SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and other relevant technologies. They will be responsible for developing technical solutions to deliver scalable analytical solutions using cloud and big data technologies.

You will collaborate with Business Consultants and Product Owners to design and implement technical solutions, ensuring industry-accepted data architecture principles, standards, and concepts are integrated with allied disciplines and coordinated roll-out strategies are in place.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing data strategies in the finance space, including controllership, FP&A, and GPO
  • Demonstrated experience delivering multiple data solutions
  • ETL development experience both on-premises and in the cloud using SSIS, Data Factory, and related Microsoft and other ETL technologies
  • In-depth skills with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, HDInsights, Azure Data Lake with the ability to configure and administrate all aspects of SQL Server
  • Experience with different data models like normalized, denormalized, stars, and snowflake models
  • Worked with transactional, temporal, time series, structured, and unstructured data
  • Data Quality Management (Microsoft DQS and other data quality and governance tools) and Data Architecture standardization experience
  • Deep understanding of operational dependencies of applications, networks, systems, security, and policy
  • Advanced study/knowledge in computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies
