Lead Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical Lead Data Analyst with strong proficiency in Python and SQL. This individual will be responsible for conducting data exploration, improving data quality, and contributing to the scaling of our project by supporting data acquisition, cleansing, and validation processes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct continuous data exploration and analysis to identify opportunities for enhancing data matching logic and improving data quality within our solution.
  • Perform various analyses specifically aimed at improving data quality, which includes identifying data quality issues, proposing solutions, and implementing improvements.
  • Participate in weekly playback sessions using Jupyter Notebook to demonstrate data insights and analysis.
  • Support the scaling of our project by assisting with data acquisition, cleansing, and validation processes for new markets.
  • Perform thorough data analysis and validation of records after batch ingestion.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to facilitate the manual validation of records.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
Skills Required:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Extensive experience using Jupyter Notebook for data analysis and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of data matching techniques, including fuzzy logic.
  • Experience working with large datasets from various sources (Excel, databases, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data cleansing, data validation, and data acquisition.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms is a plus.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
