Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Linux Administrator.

The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring the performance and security of our Linux systems, which includes managing storage using LVM, configuring multipath, evaluating and correcting OS vulnerabilities, coordinating with vendors, and implementing changes as required by various teams.

In addition, the candidate will be expected to manage log rotation, monitor file system usage, adjust permissions and ownership, troubleshoot server access and bootable issues, and conduct OS level troubleshooting.

Proficiency in service management, including NTP, SSH, and AUTOFS, is also essential. Experience with OS migration is an added advantage.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • LVM concept: FS creation, extension, and troubleshooting
  • Multipath concept – Validating multipath, adding Luns and enabling multipath
  • OS security and patching
  • Server management and troubleshooting
  • Service management (NTP, SSH, AUTOFS)
  • Log rotation and file system management

Other Requirements
