This senior leadership role is a key part of our organization. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for assessing client employee health and benefits programs, developing tailored recommendations to improve benefits offerings, and analyzing industry trends to deliver innovative advice.
- Assessing client employee health and benefits programs, including plan design, vendor relationships, and cost drivers.
- Developing tailored recommendations to improve benefits offerings, enhance employee engagement, and control costs.
- Analyzing industry trends, emerging benefits solutions, and best practices to deliver innovative advice.
- Cross-selling products and services to current clients, as well as participating in prospecting opportunities with new clients.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as the Employee Benefits Practice and Placement teams, for Client RFP, Plan Renewal, and Implementation processes.
- Coordinating, developing, and executing project plans, as well as periodic presentations for specific client groups.
- Developing and managing long and short-range benefit strategies for clients, fostering strong client relationships.
- Benchmarking survey data for client plans, summarizing and validating reviewed information.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, serving as a trusted benefits advisor.
- Contributing to thought leadership, webinars, and internal knowledge sharing on employee health and benefits topics.
- Identifying and understanding negotiable elements of underwriting calculations for employee health and benefits.
- Contributing to the development of new value propositions, products, tools, and approaches.
Key Responsibilities:

- Industry Trends and Emerging Solutions: Analyzing industry trends, emerging benefits solutions, and best practices to deliver innovative advice.
- Cross-Selling and Prospect Opportunities: Cross-selling products and services to current clients, as well as participating in prospecting opportunities with new clients.
- Team Collaboration and Project Management: Collaborating with other teams, such as the Employee Benefits Practice and Placement teams, for Client RFP, Plan Renewal, and Implementation processes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Leadership Skills and Traits: Proven leadership skills and traits, such as elected leadership roles in community, school, or college.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Domain Knowledge: Domain knowledge.
- Work Experience: 5+ years of work experience in the insurance industry.
- Education: Post Graduate or Actuarial degree, with experience in Health Insurance preferred.
