Public Affairs Role

We seek an accomplished professional to spearhead our public affairs strategy, leveraging their expertise in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication.

  • Lead the development and execution of communication programs that drive organizational objectives and foster a positive public image.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for media inquiries, crafting press releases and responding to public and press queries while monitoring media coverage of agency activities.
  • Represent the organization at key stakeholders' meetings, policy discussions, civic engagements, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Provide counsel on policy formulation, assessing potential public reactions and assisting in articulating policy statements.
  • Promote internal and external awareness through newsletters, brochures, presentations, social media content, and reports.
  • Conduct research, analyze public opinion trends, and prepare impact assessments and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Organize outreach activities, educational initiatives, facility tours, public events, and emergency preparedness communications.
  • Monitor public and media perceptions, suggest enhancements for communication effectiveness, and report findings to management.

Key Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinking and advocacy abilities to promote organizational interests in complex environments.
  • Able to interpret and present information effectively, fostering understanding and support for agency policies.
  • Project management and event coordination capabilities for public outreach and educational programming.
  • MBA/Management in Public Affairs or relevant education/experience.

This full-time role, based in Delhi, involves managing the organization's public-facing communications, supporting policy initiatives, and driving stakeholder engagement.
