SAP Logistics Senior Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics professional with a strong background in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), WM, EWM, and integration across all SAP modules.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in solution architecture, as well as implementation and support experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead logistics processes within SAP, covering SD, MM, WM, EWM, and their integration with other SAP modules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand logistics needs and translate them into SAP solutions.
  • Provide strategic insights and direction on SAP logistics configurations, processes, and optimizations.
Solution Architecture:
  • Design scalable, robust SAP logistics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and long-term goals.
  • Architect SAP systems by integrating SD, MM, and other relevant modules for seamless data flow and system performance.
  • Ensure alignment of solution designs with industry best practices and SAP standards.
Implementation & Project Management:
  • Lead SAP logistics implementations, ensuring successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Manage cross-functional teams (IT, business users, third-party vendors) to drive project success.
  • Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
Support & Continuous Improvement:
  • Provide ongoing support for SAP logistics systems, identifying and resolving system issues, bugs, and performance gaps.
  • Continuously optimize SAP logistics processes to improve efficiency, minimize costs, and support business growth.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues involving logistics process integration with other SAP modules.
Integration & Coordination Across Modules:
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD, MM, and other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, Production Planning, and Procurement).
  • Work closely with technical teams to design, develop, and test integration points.
  • Ensure consistency in master data management across logistics processes.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for logistics-related SAP activities across various business units.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and internal consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Work closely with business leaders to define and prioritize logistics requirements and align with overall business strategy.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Document solutions, processes, and configurations clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Create and present reports, dashboards, and status updates to senior management on project progress and system performance.
