Job Title: Mortgage Loan Specialist

The Conventional Loan Reviewer evaluates and verifies mortgage loan applications to ensure they meet established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

This involves examining all documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring the collateral is acceptable to investors and the company, and reviewing initial applications to verify loan, property, and borrower information.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be well-versed in credit analysis, and have expertise in 4C's framework (Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital).

Major Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and verify mortgage loan applications
  • Examine documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Review initial applications to verify loan, property, and borrower information
  • Analyze credit reports and income calculations
  • Determine eligibility and risk factors for loans

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in conventional/government end-to-end underwriting
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Well-versed in credit analysis and 4C's framework
