About the Role:

  • Develop and implement climate-resilient strategies within our healthcare delivery system, incorporating CHIP (our healthcare platform) and immunization programs.
  • Promote and adapt climate-adaptive healthcare solutions, prioritizing empowerment of frontline health workers to mitigate and respond to climate-related health risks.
  • Analyze extreme weather events as predictive factors for zero-dose patients and integrate this data into our health planning systems.
  • Design and implement approaches addressing climate-related challenges within our existing healthcare delivery system (including CHIP) and immunization programs.
  • Foster capacity-building for climate-adaptive healthcare.
  • Implement solutions providing insights and resources to empower frontline health workers in identifying, mitigating, and responding to climate-related health threats.
  • View extreme weather events as a predictive factor for zero-dose patients.
  • Oversight of project activities, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Collaboration with internal teams (policy, product, and M&E etc.) to ensure effective development and deployment of required products, meeting goals for achieving highest standards in primary healthcare delivery.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, healthcare officials, health workers, and community members to ensure project success and align program activities with state health priorities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Contribute towards creating an interoperable digital health ecosystem at the state/district level.
  • Design, implement, and provide training on trainers and ensure seamless training flow to ultimate users of the digital platform.
  • Promote digital literacy and health awareness.
  • Evaluate and oversee comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Contribute to strategy development for scaling up the project at the state level.
  • The Climate Health Expert is expected to combine climate science, public health, and data analytics to provide actionable insights. This involves forecasting risks, analyzing trends, identifying vulnerable populations, and proposing cost-effective, data-driven solutions to build climate-resilient healthcare systems.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with higher-level government officials and disseminate project/program success to relevant stakeholders, including government entities.

About You:

  • A master's degree in healthcare, public policy, environmental health, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in Public Health, with at least 2 years of experience working on climate health.
  • Proven track record in managing and implementing healthcare projects, particularly in the context of healthcare digitization with consideration of climate health challenges.
  • Strong knowledge of India's healthcare system and policies, including comprehensive primary healthcare and familiarity with the ABDM framework, and climate health initiatives.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Detailed understanding of geographical, environmental, and climate-related challenges on public health.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in digital health, demonstrating a strong understanding of emerging technologies, data analytics, and innovative solutions within the healthcare sector.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as R, ArcGIS/QGIS/Remote sensing tool/Data visualization tools, Tabulo, Power BI, etc.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.

Remuneration:

  • The remuneration offered will be between ₹50 LPA and ₹100 LPA, commensurate with the candidate's experience and skill sets.
  • Additional benefits include medical insurance, paid time off for vacation (a total of 24 days annually), paid sick leave, paid parental leave, menstrual leave after 03 months, learning stipend policy, and a flexible, enabling environment workplace with opportunities to grow into leadership roles.
