Quality Assurance Expertise

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to drive quality assurance initiatives with expertise in both manual and automation testing.

The ideal candidate should have deep experience in building scalable automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and mentoring junior team members.

You will work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to design and implement effective test strategies.

  • Design and Development of Automation Frameworks:
    • Create robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin).
  • Manual and Automated Testing:
    • Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality across web, API, and integration layers.
  • Test Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
    • Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) for scalable and maintainable automation.
  • Mentorship and Process Improvement:
    • Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to overall process improvements.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

  • Automation Testing:
    • Selenium WebDriver: Knowledge of WebDriver APIs, custom waits, element handling, handling synchronization issues, stale elements, and workarounds.
    • BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin): Writing business-readable feature files, mapping steps correctly to ensure reusability and modularity.
  • Framework & Layer-Specific Skills:
    • Step Definitions: Designing high-level steps without mixing UI locator logic, ensuring modularity and reusability.
    • Page Object Model (POM): Strong understanding of POM & Page Factory, writing maintainable locators and encapsulating UI interactions.
    • Core Framework (Wrappers, Waiters, Driver handling): Building wrapper methods around Selenium APIs, implementing custom waits, retry mechanisms, and driver utilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with manual testing (functional, regression, smoke, UAT).
  • Experience in API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test design, and defect management.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in automation testing.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
