About the Role

This position demands deep knowledge of Indian macroeconomics, sectoral dynamics, rural and urban investment patterns, production trends, external trade, financial markets, and lending ecosystems. You will be responsible for creating high-impact analyses that address client needs, guide policy discussions, and strengthen research intelligence offerings.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Analysis: Deliver in-depth analyses of India's growth trajectory, policy developments, and economic risks. Assess structural trends across sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, services, infrastructure, and the financial ecosystem.
  • Advanced Estimation & Forecasting: Design and implement robust systems to forecast critical economic indicators, including GDP, inflation, trade balances, fiscal metrics, and sector-specific trends.
  • Sectoral Research: Conduct comprehensive sectoral studies covering rural consumption, production efficiencies, supply chain dynamics, credit flows, external trade, and financial market trends.
  • Predictive Analytics: Utilize advanced quantitative techniques to support scenario building and predictive modeling.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in Economics with expertise in macroeconomics, econometrics, and quantitative analysis. Additionally, they should have 6-10 years of experience in economic research, policy analysis, consulting, or financial services.
