Job Title: Insurance Risk Analyst

About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced insurance risk analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing risk factors associated with businesses, customizing policies, and coordinating with underwriters at various insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze risk factors associated with businesses to ensure accurate policy coverage.
  • Customize policies by adding or removing covers, riders, or endorsements based on client needs.
  • Coordinate with underwriters at various insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Follow up on approvals, reinsurance support, and final underwriting clearance.
  • Verify all required documents from clients, including KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.
  • Stay updated on underwriting norms, product circulars, and compliance requirements.
  • Explain underwriting requirements, terms, exclusions, and conditions to clients.
  • Support the sales team by providing underwriting guidance and clarifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
