We're looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help build and scale the backend of our SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, Build, and Maintain Scalable APIs: Develop and implement REST/GraphQL APIs for our frontend editor and client apps.
  • Architect and Manage Multi-Tenant Infrastructure: Set up secure authentication, billing, and user/project management for our SaaS platform.
  • Implement Asset Management Pipelines: Handle file uploads, processing, storage, and delivery of images, videos, and HTML5 bundles with CDN integration.
  • Set Up Role-Based Access Control and Permissions: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) for teams and agencies using our platform.
  • Integrate Payment Gateways: Integrate payment gateways like Stripe and Razorpay for subscription management.
  • Ensure High Availability, Security, and Scalability: Ensure the backend services are highly available, secure, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, game engineers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong Proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript: Experience with Node.js and TypeScript is required.
  • SaaS Product Architecture Expertise: Experience with SaaS product architecture, including authentication (OAuth/JWT), multi-tenant databases, and subscription models.
  • Database Expertise: Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Firebase.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as CI/CD pipelines.
  • API Security, Scalability, and Performance Optimization Expertise: Strong knowledge of API security, scalability, and performance optimization techniques.
  • File Uploads, Storage Systems, and CDN Integration Expertise: Experience handling file uploads, storage systems like S3, and CDN integration.
  • DevOps Practices Expertise: Understanding of DevOps practices like Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and logging.
  • Payment Integrations Expertise: Familiarity with payment integrations like Stripe and PayPal.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Prior Experience Building Creative SaaS Tools: Prior experience building creative SaaS tools like design platforms, editors, adtech, and game engines.
  • WebSockets for Real-Time Collaboration Expertise: Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time collaboration.
  • Serverless Architecture Expertise: Experience with serverless architecture like Lambda and Cloud Functions.
  • Analytics Pipelines Expertise: Familiarity with analytics pipelines for tracking engagement, conversion, and ad performance.
