**Senior Manufacturing Operations Leader**

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our bus body structure production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, with expertise in bus body building, BIW, and assembly.

  • Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Manage and mentor production supervisors and line staff to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve line-level quality issues and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects.
  • Lead Kaizen, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce non-value-added activities and improve line balancing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.

Experience: 15-20 years in automotive production, with expertise in bus body structure design and manufacturing.

Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, ISO/TS (optional).

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team management skills, as well as experience with cost control, budgeting, and ERP/MRP systems.

Safety and compliance awareness is also essential, with a strong understanding of performance metrics such as production volume vs. plan, first pass yield, and line efficiency.
