Structural Dynamics Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Specialist to drive our engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finite element analysis, optimization, and structural dynamics.
- Fatigue life estimations for parent metal and weld connections require a solid understanding of nonlinear FEA, with the ability to optimize strength and stiffness targets.
- A thorough comprehension of structural dynamics, modal analysis, and dynamic responses, including frequency response functions (FRF) and random excitations is essential.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for full vehicle level NVH studies, including point mobility and local dynamic stiffness expertise and optimizations for target frequencies and dynamic responses.
- An intuitive understanding of structural mechanics and problem-solving attitude to come up with countermeasures with manufacturing and assembly feasibility is required.
- Experience with Multi-Body dynamics simulations with flex-body analysis is an asset.
- B.E/M.E degree in Automotive or Mechanical engineering
- 8-13 years of experience in CAE
- Proficiency in Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, Hypermesh, Ansa, Hyperview, and Metapost
