Senior IT Asset Management Trainer

We are seeking a senior IT asset management professional with 10+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Insights.

  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of IT assets to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Inventory Tracking: Oversee HAM processes for accurate inventory tracking, asset optimization, and governance to minimize waste and maximize ROI.
  • License Compliance: Lead SAM programs ensuring license compliance, audit readiness, and effective vendor management to mitigate risks and avoid penalties.
  • Cloud Optimization: Implement Cloud Insights practices to monitor, optimize, and report on cloud consumption and costs to reduce expenses and improve scalability.
  • Data Governance: Maintain and govern CMDB and asset repositories, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IT governance standards to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams to develop cost-effective asset management strategies and reporting tools.
  • Audit and Risk Management: Conduct audits, reconciliations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate IT asset-related risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Train junior IT staff on ITAM processes, compliance, and tools to enhance knowledge and skills and promote career growth.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in ITAM platforms and frameworks and be able to mentor and train new graduates and junior staff in industry best practices.
