Financial Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager specializing in accounting, compliance, and budgeting to oversee our financial operations and ensure regulatory adherence.

This individual will manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, and lead the development of accurate and effective budgets. The role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical abilities, the capacity to manage multiple projects, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial data and prepare consolidated financial statements and reports.
  • Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis processes.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Conduct cost and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for savings and optimization.
  • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 4-5 years of overall experience in financial management and accounting. Experience working with educational institutions will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience managing audits and tax reporting processes.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and ERP / technology tools, essential for fast & accurate MIS.
