Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Technical Operations Specialist. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong technical skills and experience in managing complex IT systems.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical assistance and support to users via phone, email, or in-person.
  2. Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  3. Implement and maintain technical solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
  4. Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  6. Maintain accurate records of technical activities and provide regular reports to management.
  7. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT, preferably in a technical operations role.
  • Extensive knowledge of databases (Oracle/MSSQL), Unix/Linux, Java J2EE, Python, PowerShell scripts, Bash, and Ansible.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technologies (Google Cloud platform) and application performance tools (New Relic, Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
