Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Portfolio Analyst. In this role, you will support client credit needs by evaluating asset portfolios for lines of credit, focusing on creditworthiness and collateral analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets and asset vehicles like Mutual Funds, Equities, and Fixed Income. You will also possess excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare thorough analyses of clients prior to underwriting, including pulling credit reports and generating collateral valuations.
  • Review lines of credit annually and build recommendations for renewal or modification.
  • Analyze client data across multiple systems and conduct preliminary reviews for credit criteria.
  • Ensure loan documentation is accurate and compliant with federal and local regulations.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the underwriting process to grow into a lender role.
  • Collaborate with business partners to enhance process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Underwriting, Credit Risk, and/or Collateral Valuation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially with business partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to review processes and recommend improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with various organizational levels.
