About the Role

This role involves working with various types of patent and non-patent literature searches, including prior art, freedom to operate, invalidation and other searches. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and be able to provide insightful analysis of search results from different sources.

The successful candidate will also have strong drafting skills and be able to draft Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent applications. Additionally, they will be required to attend Examination reports and Office Actions by providing technical arguments (written & verbal) and attending hearings at the Indian Patent Office (in case of registered patent agents).

Responsibilities
  • Conducting patent and non-patent literature searches
  • Providing insightful analysis of search results
  • Drafting Provisional and Complete Specifications for patent applications
  • Attending Examination reports and Office Actions
  • Assisting in Patent Oppositions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Registration with the Indian Patent Office (for registered patent agents)
Working Conditions

The selected candidate will be required to work on a full-time basis. The position may involve working under pressure to meet deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The successful candidate will also be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
