Regional Recovery Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Regional Recovery Lead to develop and execute regional recovery strategies, drive team performance, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Develop and execute regional recovery plans to achieve collection targets and minimize bad debt.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and manage a team of recovery professionals to deliver high-performance results.
  • Oversee day-to-day recovery operations, including case allocation, progress monitoring, and adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recovery, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments to streamline recovery processes and resolve complex cases.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships while pursuing outstanding payments.
  • Prepare regular reports on regional recovery performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve recovery efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8-12 years of experience in collections, debt recovery, or credit management, with significant leadership or managerial experience.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding recovery targets.
  • A strong understanding of collection laws, regulations, and ethical practices in India.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively.
