IT Disaster Recovery Manager

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing automated disaster recovery frameworks to improve failover and recovery speed. They should be able to integrate automation into disaster recovery runbooks, testing, and execution to minimize manual intervention.
Responsibilities include optimizing recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) through automation, working closely with infrastructure teams to enhance disaster recovery capabilities, and ensuring disaster plans meet compliance requirements.
Key skills required include strong knowledge of IT automation strategies, tools, and frameworks, as well as proven experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Required Skills and QualificationsQualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration, and financial or regulatory domain experience a plus.
Experience includes minimum 12+ years of experience in management or team lead role in IT industry, minimum 5 years of experience in disaster recovery, business continuity planning or point in time recovery planning and execution, practical experience operating in an agile development environment, and proven hands-on experience in leading DR automation projects.
