Job Title:

Optimizing Supply Chain Performance Professional

 

Job Summary:

A detail-oriented and data-driven professional with experience in pharmaceutical supply chain seeks to leverage process excellence, drive efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Development & Compliance Management
  • Draft, review, and update operational procedures aligned with regulatory requirements to ensure processes meet audit demands.
  • Ensure all operational procedures are compliant with cGMP and internal standards.
  1. Continuous Improvement (CI) & Project Leadership
  • Identify and execute CI projects to reduce SCM costs and improve procurement, logistics, and warehousing efficiency.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to address root causes and drive measurable improvements.
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze and report on core supply chain KPIs, including lead time, OTIF, inventory turns, and supplier performance.
  • Build dashboards and advanced analytical reports using Excel, Power BI, or other relevant tools.
  1. Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Support procurement of APIs, excipients, and packaging materials while ensuring quality compliance and supplier performance.
  • Drive vendor evaluation, qualification, and timely material availability at the site.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with QA, QC, Production, and Planning teams to ensure seamless batch scheduling and material flow.
  • Support audits with accurate documentation and supply chain evidence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or similar regulated industry.
  • B Tech/ B. Pharma or MBA with a focus on Supply Chain Operations.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Strong command of MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Project management experience with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
