Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with large-scale data sets, drive business improvements, and develop insightful financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to drive business results and improvements.
  • Deliver weekly/monthly financial close using advanced MS Excel functions and financial systems.
  • Implement process improvements and standardization of financial processes, including good practices in controllership.
  • Support financial reporting and operating planning, demonstrating finance acumen and adaptability to different business needs.
  • Prepare concise commentary for various stakeholders and collaborate with operations' leaders and teams.
  • Communicate complex finance issues clearly through active listening and effective verbal/written communication.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports driving cost reductions.
  • Participate in hiring and mentoring peers, leveraging diverse perspectives in all activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
  • 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets informing business decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, root cause, and escalation plan creation/implementation.
  • Transaction accounting field experience.
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • MBA, CA or CPA.

Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
