Job Description: Azure Middleware Support EngineerOverview:

The Azure Middleware Support Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our Azure middleware applications. This position requires a skilled professional who can provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance to ensure seamless operation of the middleware components within the Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Middleware Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address middleware requirements, ensuring that our applications meet the necessary standards.
  2. Middleware Monitoring: Monitor and maintain Azure middleware systems to ensure optimal performance and availability, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  3. Technical Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to middleware configurations and integrations, providing timely and effective solutions to our customers.
  4. Automation Development: Develop and implement automation processes for middleware deployments and upgrades, streamlining our operations and improving efficiency.
  5. Performance Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Azure middleware components, ensuring that our applications meet the necessary performance standards.
  6. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to development teams for middleware-related projects, ensuring that our applications meet the necessary technical standards.
  7. Security Compliance: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance within the Azure middleware environment, protecting our customers' data and ensuring business continuity.
  8. On-Call Support: Participate in on-call support and incident management for critical middleware issues, providing timely and effective solutions to our customers.
  9. Documentation: Document standard operating procedures and best practices for middleware administration, ensuring that our teams are equipped to manage our applications effectively.
  10. Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and support teams to resolve escalated middleware issues, ensuring that our applications meet the necessary standards.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 3 years of experience in supporting and troubleshooting Azure middleware solutions.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure API Management, as well as scripting and automation using PowerShell, Shell, or Python.
  4. Middleware Knowledge: Knowledge of middleware platforms such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or IBM MQ.
  5. Networking Security: Strong understanding of networking security and identity management within Azure.
  6. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex middleware integration issues.
  7. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ204 or AZ400 is a plus.
  9. Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
