Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Application Monitoring Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application monitoring and management, with a proven track record of troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis.

  • Experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration is essential.

  • Operational application management expertise, including troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis, identifying recurring issues and ensuring long-term fixes.

  • Expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications, defining and fine-tuning alerts, integrating Dynatrace alerts into incident management tooling.

  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks.

  • Ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting.

  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management.

  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.

  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams.

  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, creating a cooperative environment where ideas and solutions are shared openly.

Project management "light" skills to follow up on tasks, ensure timely completion, and efficiently manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Sense of accuracy in monitoring configuration.

Ability to provide support and training to application teams with varying levels of technical expertise.
