Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading a team of collectors in managing the company's portfolio of accounts effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to coach and mentor their team, and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Flow Management

The incumbent will be responsible for maximizing cash inflows and minimizing debts by effectively managing a team of collectors. This involves assigning tasks to collectors based on criticality and skill set, as well as managing critical accounts by making outbound calls and responding to queries.

  • Assign tasks to collectors based on criticality and skill set.

Strategizing and Reporting

  • Develop work strategies and prepare ageing reports for review.

Essential Functions

  • FOLLOW STANDARD PROCEDURES.
  • Provide work strategies to collectors.
  • Coching and provide effective feedback to collectors.
  • Quality monitoring and review of accounts.
  • Review and guide collectors on account clearance, reconciliation or write-off.
  • Share process updates and ensure adherence.
  • Review and approve disbursements, write-offs processed by collectors.
  • Allocate accounts according to guidelines.
  • Serve as link between collector and Zurich governance leads.
  • Ensure transactions comply with predefined parameters.
  • Adhere to Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Use fair methods to collect outstanding balances.
