**Job Title:** Electric Grid Interface Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to take on a challenging role in the field of electric grid connections and simulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a product owner for Grid Code Compliance, ensuring that no requirement exists without a corresponding test case.
  • Translate Grid Code requirements into the software development process by abstracting software requirements and test cases.
  • Support Grid Code compliance and connection during sales and project phases.
  • Develop test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
  • Perform, evaluate, and document Grid Code compliance tests.
  • Analyze test data to optimize Grid Code compliance.
  • Specify new functions and features to maintain and improve Grid Code compliance on wind farm and wind turbine levels.
  • Have a deep understanding of Nordex products to assess Grid Code compliance.
  • Optimize processes within Grid Code compliance.

Skillsets Required:

  • Experience with Grid Code requirements.
  • Test case definition and test-driven development experience.
  • Knowledge of Grid Code compliance on power plant level and software details.
  • Programming experience in Python or similar languages for test analysis and automation.
  • Self-responsible, structured, customer, and solution-oriented working mindset.
  • Intercultural understanding and collaborative teamwork across functions and geographies.
  • Fluent English language skills; Spanish and/or German are beneficial.
