Lead Data Science Team

We are seeking an experienced Principal Data Scientist to lead our data science team and drive impactful business analytics and machine learning projects. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in business analytics, data science modeling, and ML engineering, along with proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data science and machine learning projects, from ideation to deployment.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights and support strategic business decisions.
  • Design, build, and optimize machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored ML solutions.
  • Oversee data collection, preprocessing, and analysis, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging data science and machine learning engineering technologies.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in data science, business analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading data science teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with extensive experience in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  • Solid understanding of ML engineering practices, including model deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying ML models and managing data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices for improving the reproducibility and scalability of machine learning workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
