About the Role: We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to tackle a diverse range of cutting-edge data science and machine learning challenges across various industries. In this role, you will engage directly with clients to understand their business context and solve complex unstructured business problems using data science and machine learning techniques. Key Responsibilities:

  • Hypothesis Testing & Analysis: Conduct hypothesis testing, generate insights, perform root cause analysis, and factor analysis.
  • Model Development: Develop statistical models (predictive & prescriptive) using a variety of statistical and machine learning techniques and algorithms.
  • Model Evaluation: Test and train models, improve model accuracy, and monitor model performance to ensure robustness and effectiveness.
  • Data Preparation: Extract data from EDW/Big Data platforms, prepare datasets (including creation of base data aggregation and transformation), and perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).

Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • 35 years of relevant experience in machine learning and data science.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Python libraries (SciPy, NumPy, Pandas, IPython, Scikitlearn) and distributed big data processing tools (PySpark, Jupyter, Linux, AWS).
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and their practical applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for data interpretation.
  • Strong learning acumen with a high sense of ownership and enthusiasm for technology.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams effectively.

Education: B.Tech from a Tier 1 institution or M.S/M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
