About the Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Engineer to spearhead our security initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of security principles, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.

A strong understanding of secure software development practices, including Agile and DevOps, is essential for this role.

The selected individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security is seamlessly integrated into our development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust security measures to protect against emerging threats
  • Conduct thorough security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are adopted throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in application security, with a strong background in secure software development and threat analysis
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including Java, JavaScript, C++, Python, and Ruby
  • Familiarity with Agile, SDLC practices, GCP, Containers, Serverless technologies, and SAST, DAST tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
