Job Title: SAP Security Consultant

As a highly skilled SAP Security Consultant, you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and work on complex projects in large-scale SAP environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining SAP security roles, profiles, and authorisations across ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW. They will also manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM). Additionally, they will apply position-based access control models where appropriate and maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and maintain SAP security roles, profiles, and authorizations across ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and BW.
  • Manage user provisioning, access requests, and license assignments using SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Apply position-based access control models where appropriate.
  • Maintain Firefighter (FF) access via SAP GRC 12.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, segregation of duties (SoD) requirements, and audit controls.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP authorization issues, IDM provisioning problems, and SAP cloud access challenges.
  • Support security aspects of system maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and new project implementations.
  • Monitor SAP security logs, identify potential risks, and take proactive action.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and audit teams to deliver secure and compliant SAP solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, reports, and training materials.
  • Lead and manage large-scale SAP Security design and restructuring projects.
  • Provide high-level support, including complex problem determination, for SAP security across Development, Test/QA, and Production environments.
Technology & Tools Exposure:
  • SAP ECC, BW, Solution Manager, S/4HANA, Fiori.
  • SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
  • SAP Identity Management (IDM).
  • Soterion security management tool.
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Key Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of SAP security design principles and role architecture.
  • Expertise in SoD risk identification and remediation.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects in large-scale SAP environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
