About this role:

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist, you will lead the effort to develop and assign maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment.

This position supports asset reliability by creating and assigning equipment strategy. You will act as the primary point of contact, overseeing equipment strategy assignment, collaborating with team members, and ensuring project success.

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control systems, valves, analyzers, and shutdown devices.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for field instrumentation (e.g., transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand preventive, predictive, and condition monitoring tasks related to assets.
  • Develop standardized procedures for instrumentation maintenance and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification and international instrumentation standards.
  • Proficiency in instrument maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of instrumentation technology and a proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
