">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Plan, execute, and report on internal audits covering operational, compliance, and financial processes to ensure robust control systems.
  • Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify control weaknesses and suggest corrective actions to enhance process efficiency.
  • Review cash flow, accounting, investments, and loan approvals/disbursements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records to ensure transparency.
  • Review revenue recognition, interest income, and provisioning policies to ensure alignment with regulatory norms.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance-related processes, including NPA identification, provisioning norms, and recovery actions.
  • Review day-to-day operations, including customer onboarding, KYC compliance, and transaction monitoring.
  • Audit processes in departments like HR, Finance, IT, Legal, and Collections to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of systems and procedures.
  • Conduct concurrent audits of branches, gold loan operations, disbursals, and collections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform gold audits – valuation checks, purity verification, vault & custody audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure RBI regulatory compliance audits, including KYC, AML, Fair Practice Code, and reporting timelines.
  • Identify control gaps, fraud risks, and process deviations; recommend corrective actions.
  • Track closure of audit observations and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to strengthen internal controls.
  • Present periodic audit findings and dashboards to senior management.
  • Assist in preparing for regulatory inspections (RBI/NHB, etc.) and external audits.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Banking/NBFC regulatory environment, RBI guidelines, and industry best practices
