We seek a seasoned Oracle database professional to spearhead our team's technology infrastructure in Hyderabad, India.

About the Role

This position requires performing high-level oracle database engineering build, delivery, support, and ensuring seamless collaboration with application and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineer and deploy advanced oracle database systems.
  • Design and implement secure database structures.
  • Automate routine database tasks through configuration management.
  • Enhance storage structures to meet evolving business needs.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Optimize monitoring processes and improve environment efficiency by identifying problems.
  • Develop strong expertise in Backup/Recovery RMAN.
  • Maintain knowledge of ASM and Dataguard.
Requirements:
  • Seven plus years of experience in oracle database administration, preferably on 12c and 19c versions.
  • Practical hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Ansible.
  • Knowledge of various database technologies (PostgreSQL, Sybase, SQL Server).
  • Experience working with Vagrant, VM, and scheduling tools or willingness to learn.
  • Understanding of modern DevOps tooling (Software automatic deployment tools, GIT, VM, Cloud technologies, API development, configuration management).
  • Participation in platform improvement initiatives, including performance optimization and production stability enhancement.
  • Experience working in fast-paced Agile environments with excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ownership of problems to completion, effective communication with stakeholders, and timely task updates.
