About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing public cloud platforms using technologies like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Development and Operation: Design, develop, and operate large-scale services that meet the business needs of our organization.
  • Automation and Improvement: Automate routine manual production/non-production operations using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, etc. Implement automation to increase productivity and quality.
  • System Maintenance and Monitoring: Involve in the entire system maintenance lifecycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, middleware performance tuning, and collaborating with functional and technical team members to provide high-quality services.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, project managers, team leads, security, and QA teams in various locations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cloud Expertise: Have good knowledge in cloud-based systems operation and extensive skills in Linux commands.
  • Scripting and Automation: Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting and experience with automation/configuration management tools like Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
  • System Operation and Development: Experience in developing and operating one or more of the following systems: Kubernetes, Nginx, ELK stack, Hadoop, etc.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise on complex automation and functional issues.
  • Adaptability: Adapt to business needs in terms of working hours and be available for flexible emergency support timing.
