As a seasoned technical architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of modern cloud-native solutions using Java Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS services. Your expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and development will enable seamless integration with legacy mainframe functionalities.

You will lead a team of developers working on modernization initiatives, promoting best practices in software design, coding, testing, and deployment. You will also participate in hands-on development, code reviews, and implementation of complex application components.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with significant expertise in Java Spring Boot, and at least 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role. Strong experience developing modern web applications using Angular is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to a team of developers.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions using Java (Spring Boot), Angular, and AWS services.
  • Development & Implementation: Participate in hands-on development, code reviews, and implementation of complex application components.
  • Bridging Technologies: Collaborate closely with mainframe technical leads and SMEs to understand legacy system functionalities, data structures, and integration points.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with significant expertise in Java Spring Boot
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, guiding development teams and owning technical design
  • Strong experience developing modern web applications using Angular
  • Demonstrable experience designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS using core services (compute, storage, database, networking, serverless, containers)
