Cloud Architect Position

This is a senior-level position requiring extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As a seasoned GCP Certified Senior Architect, you will be responsible for creating secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implementation: You will design and implement cloud infrastructure on GCP, ensuring it meets the needs of our organization. This includes provisioning and managing compute, storage, network, and database services.
  • Infrastructure Automation: You will automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ensuring seamless deployment and management of resources.
  • Business Requirements: You will translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions, recommending GCP services aligned with application needs and cost optimization.
  • Architecture and Design: You will participate in high-level architecture and solution design, building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Cloud Build or similar tools.
Requirements:
  • Google Cloud Certification Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, etc.)
  • Strong command of Linux, shell scripting, and networking fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Cloud Build, Cloud Functions, or other GCP-native tools
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Understanding of IAM, VPCs, firewall rules, service accounts, and Cloud Identity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
