Job Opportunity: Medical Officer Position

A medical professional is sought for a Medical Officer role in the healthcare sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new cases, participating in patient care and management, conducting preliminary investigations and treatment, and reviewing case outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all new cases including taking medical histories, examining patients, and making diagnoses/provisional diagnoses as soon as possible after admission.
  • Participate in general patient care and management, undertaking routine investigations and treatment under supervision.
  • See seriously ill patients immediately upon admission and initiate emergency treatment without delay.
  • Evaluate and manage patient conditions, ensuring that all prescribed investigations and treatments are carried out and reviewed regularly.
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries for each patient authenticated by a consultant.
  • Perform procedures under supervision.
  • Attend department ward rounds.
  • Closely monitor pre-operative patient preparation.
