Job Title: Project Director – Renewable Energy Development

 

Job Description:

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to spearhead our renewable energy development initiatives. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 13-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in managing full-life cycles of Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid projects.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and technical/commercial aspects of renewable energy.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and evaluate vendors for project development, based on experience and market feedback, and manage empanelment accordingly.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence of project sites to assess suitability, including site evaluations, resource mapping, and technical specification assessments.
  • Manage all related documentation for the project, including contract finalization, land document compilation, cost model development, and tariff-return scenario assessment.
  • Perform regulatory compliance checks based on state and CTU guidelines.
  • Manage vendor-related transactions, including land advances and resource estimation.
  • Expedite project roll-out activities, including land acquisition, procurement, contract execution, GST registration, and essential secretarial work.
