Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Java.

  • Design and Develop: Design and develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable backend systems using Java, including microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes to enhance application functionality.
  • Expertise in Data Streaming: Utilize Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and message processing, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Code Reviews and Troubleshooting: Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to optimize performance and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Hands-on experience with, Kafka or Rabbit MQ, including creating producers and consumers, and managing topics and partitions.
  • Familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
