Job Summary:

  • Objective:
  • To lead the development of backend services using Python and contribute to the growth of our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient backend services using Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and technical debt.
  • Ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring they remain secure, stable, and up-to-date.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for future development and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in building and maintaining backend services using Python.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
  • Excellent coding and debugging skills, with a focus on backend technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture, design, and development.
  • Knowledge of development tools such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, GitLab, Bitbucket.
