About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced KYC Quality Assurance Manager to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Managed Service Business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small to medium-sized group of KYC analysts, ensuring the quality of their work, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support a team of KYC analysts, including performance management.
  • Perform sign-off and quality control for KYC files, ensuring they meet client expectations and contractual service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Analyze metrics to identify risks, issues, and drive the pipeline of work and performance management on the team.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalations and issues from the team, providing solutions and guidance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the team, providing guidance on KYC processes and procedures.
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to deliver project work within agreed SLAs.
  • Capacity management, including prioritization.
  • Assist in defining procedures, processes, standards, and best practices to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the team to identify material trends for ongoing quality and cycle time improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Promote and develop a strong culture within the team, embedding the Delta Capita values.

Requirements

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Demonstratable team lead and people management experience.
  • Demonstratable quality control and quality assurance experience delivering high-quality work.
  • KYC SME level knowledge across low to high-risk jurisdictions and both complex and non-complex structures.
  • Proven experience of PEPs, Sanctions, and Negative Media screening.
  • Proven experience in performing financial crime risk assessments of clients.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of best practices in building and maintaining KYC processes.
  • Understanding of key controls, compliance/AML, investigation functions in the banking industry.
  • Excellent understanding of the end-to-end KYC and client onboarding processes.
  • Excellent communicator, able to effectively and professionally communicate with stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
  • Flexible with shift timings and work from office.
  • A Graduate in any discipline.

Desirable Skills:

  • Prior experience in AML/KYC operations.
