Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at CtrlS Datacenters Ltd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IBMS and controls solutions for our data center projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IBMS and controls solutions for data center projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction professionals, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, P&ID, and controls schematics for data center projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IBMS and controls systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our design and implementation processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing IBMS and controls solutions for data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of data center facilities infrastructure and operation, including PDU, UPS, generators, and other critical systems.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as SQL, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Experience with industrial protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocols.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, DDC/PLC-based solutions, SCADA platforms, energy management, and power solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related engineering degrees.
  • Experience with the use and programming of electrical power monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of data center facilities infrastructure and operation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Visio.
