As a Mechanical Aircraft Propulsion Systems Architect, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge solutions in the field of nacelle design. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex projects that require a deep understanding of system-level requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nacelle System Design: Define system-level requirements for nacelles, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
  • System Integration: Oversee conceptual and detailed design of nacelle systems, ensuring integration with engine and aircraft components.
  • Testing and Validation: Manage testing and validation plans for nacelle components and systems, interpreting and analyzing test data to verify system performance and compliance.
  • Design Optimization: Conduct design trade-off studies to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on nacelle design, development, and testing.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of nacelle systems, including inlets, fan cowls, thrust reversers, and exhausts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: In-depth understanding of aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA) and certification processes.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with engineering software such as CATIA, ANSYS, and MATLAB/Simulink.
