Commercial Real Estate Analyst Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting and finance background, including expertise in handling financial statements, modeling, and budgeting.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in hospitality real estate and a deep understanding of P&L, REVPAR, ADR, and occupancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop dynamic Excel-based pro forma models; refine and improve existing models to support business decision-making.
  • Underwrite new deals across a range of CRE assets, ensuring robust financial validation.
  • Analyze rent rolls, operating memoranda, T12s, and market comps to derive meaningful insights.
  • Monitor performance, compile detailed reports, and drive asset management strategies across various portfolio types.
  • Prepare investment memos, investor updates, and performance dashboards using strong written English to ensure clarity and transparency.

Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in CRE underwriting/investment analysis (preferably in the Hospitality sector), supported by a strong accounting and finance foundation.
  • Prior experience in hospitality real estate with a clear grasp of key metrics.
  • Proven ability in monitoring asset performance and compiling reports that drive strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional written English skills for crafting nuanced, investor-focused updates and communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to underwrite deals, enhance existing financial models, and adapt strategies for evolving market conditions.
