About the Role

Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing test frameworks, creating detailed test plans, and implementing automation test strategies based on product requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, and system testing. They will also be responsible for ensuring completeness of test case coverage, running automation tests, and monitoring results.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hands-on automation testing
  • Create test plans and identify automation opportunities
  • Build the testing framework to simulate end-to-end scenarios using various platforms and technologies
  • Build and maintain functional automated test suite
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement
  • Build and automate tracking systems for quality metrics and reporting
  • Participate in release planning and product roll out
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 8-15 years' experience in Automation Test Engineer
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
