Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance process, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and stability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to verify application functionality, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Track and document defects using industry-standard tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve defects and improve software quality.
  • Implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for application development.
  • Provide detailed test reports and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in manual and automated testing, with a strong understanding of software quality assurance principles.
  • Proficiency in test case design, execution, and tracking.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  • Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium or Cypress.
  • SQL skills for database testing.
  • API testing expertise using Postman.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing.
  • Familiarity with security testing.
