At Aricent, we are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead our teams in developing service-oriented architecture for products. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with software engineers and anchors/lead engineers to develop optimal solutions for the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with the Product Owner to establish and/or contribute to the product roadmaps, translating the product roadmap into manageable product features for development.
- Work with Product Owners and Architects to design optimal solutions, understanding business and user priorities, and technical feasibility, in order to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks dependencies across features.
- Clearly communicate product vision to team members and key stakeholders, providing strong technical leadership to a team of software engineers, guiding and mentoring them to achieve technical excellence.
- Drive delivery and value with a focus on technical feasibility, driving architecture discussions and design discussions, with focus on maintainability/scalability and modernization.
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality, and well-tested code, developing microservices to build loosely coupled services that allow you to break a larger application into smaller components with narrowly defined rules.
- Enforce refactoring, continuous integration, and automation to create maintainable code, facilitating Agile practices like Daily standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, and retrospections.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Java Full Stack Software Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Java Spring Boot development, designing and developing REST APIs, and front-end development using Angular, JavaScript, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and React.
- Strong knowledge of microservices and micro-front-end architecture.
- Must have strong leadership and communication skills, experience in developing and managing cloud-native solutions (GCP), and experience of CI/CD using Tekton.
- Must have a strong technical orientation and problem-solving attitude, experience of Progress Web Application Development, knowledge of software design patterns, and knowledge and understanding of lean software development fundamentals such as minimum viable product (MVP) and managing a product roadmap.
- Genuine interest in new and emerging technologies, lean agile delivery methodologies, and new ways of working, willingness to continuously learn, innovate, and grow self, and willingness to be flexible and seek ideas/inputs from others and collaborate.
- Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities, familiarity and prior experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, and nice-to-have skills and experience such as familiarity with extreme programming (XP) practices, including pair/mob programming and test-first/test-driven development (TDD).
