Product Manager – API Product Management

Icertis is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our API product strategy. As a Product Manager on our API Product Management Team, you will be responsible for driving the success of our API products and enhancing our developer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for API products, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the API ecosystem.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop high-quality APIs that meet customer and partner needs.
Ensure the technical excellence of API offerings by staying current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Understand and articulate the business value of APIs to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop pricing models, usage metrics, and business cases to support API monetization and adoption strategies.
Lead the creation and maintenance of comprehensive, user-friendly API documentation.
Work closely with the developer community to gather feedback, address pain points, and continuously improve the developer experience.
Partner with sales, marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and customer satisfaction.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all API-related inquiries and support escalations.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of API products.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
7 to 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on API products or related technology domains.
Strong understanding of API design, RESTful principles, and modern API technologies (like Azure APIM).
Proficient in API documentation tools (Swagger, Postman) and familiarity with API management platforms.
Proven ability to develop and execute API product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Experience with API monetization, usage analytics, and developer engagement strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the API space.
